| Rhododendron Seinghkuense
- an unfamiliar species. Philip Evans collected
this species on the Dulongshan , the divide between the Salween
in China and the Taron in Burma , at the relatively low altitude
of 650m. in 1997.
R. Seinghkuense is closely related to R. edgeworthii, has similar
attractive foliage, but differs in its yellow flowers and having
no scent. It is proving hardy in Philip's garden in Cornwall. It
is listed in Glendoick's catalogue.
