Vigorous and robust speading growth.
Flowers: large (to 11cm) perfect formal double; rich vivid crimson scarlet, occasionally streaked white towards the centre of the petals.
Foliage: large (to 12.5cm long) deep green ovate slightly wavy leaves coarsely dentated.
Mid season.
The flower colour is unusual, and this is one of the best formal double reds, flowering all along the branches.
