Slow compact erect growth.
Flowers: medium formal double (about 11cm) or incomplete double with a few stamens showing
and imbricated petals; turkey red, deeper shade in the centre.
Foliage: large glossy dark green leaves to 8cm.
Mid to late season.
The flower form and colour varies with climatic conditions even within the UK.
