Vigorous and upright initially spreading later with branches stiffly held.
Flowers: medium - sometimes semi-double but usually full peony form; deep pinkish mauve.
Early.
Foliage: smallish, mid green and semi-matt.
Very floriferous over a long period, being one of the first to flower. A superb harbinger of spring,
not sufficiently widely known.
