Vigorous erect growth.
Flowers: medium (to 10cm) single to semi-double with a prominent boss of stamens; bright scarlet sometimes with white blotches.
Foliage: dark and glossy with a sideways facing point.
Mid season.
A proven cultivar and still one of the best reds for general cultivation.
