Flowers: blush pink, 55 mm across with 5 fluted petals, spreading, slender stamens with yellow anthers.
Leaves: narrow-elliptic, 50 x 20mm, mid-green.
An old Japanese variety imported by Sawada, Alabama, about 1909.
