Open, spreading and vigorous.
Flowers: 7-8cm across, with six to eight notched and creped petals, white, many with magenta-pink tips, forming a firm cup around a wide central boss of yellow stamens with cream anthers.
It blooms earlier than C. oleifera.
Foliage: 6 x 3.2cm, mid green, of strong texture.
An historic sasanqua cultivar, often confused with the extremely variable C. oleifera.
