Camellia japonica 'Scentsation'
Parentage not released
Nuccio, California 1968
H5
AM 1995, AGM (1993, 2002) 2012
Dense vigorous and upright.
Flowers: medium to large(occasionally to 12.5cm) peony form; silvery pink with scattered golden
stamens and a few petaloids. Scented.
Foliage: mid green and pointed.
Mid season.
The slight scent is not very noticeable outside a greenhouse, but this cultivar is a step on the way
to a scented camellia.
