Flowers: 9-11 tepals, 75-125mm wide, red-purple; inner surface rich pink to white; buds erect initially then sickle-shaped, pointed, dark red-purple at base, fading to white.
Mid to late April
Growth habit is erect almost columnar and very floriferous.
