Magnolia campbellii alba
Height: to 35m
Flowers: Usually pale pink, to 35cm diameter
Recognise by: leaves to 30cm, often with some silvery indumentum.
Usually seedlings of alba are assumed hybrids of the pink and white forms and are
rarely pure white. Many outstanding clones have arisen from c.alba seedlings from
Caerhays so it is still worth growing open pollinated M.campbellii alba.
