History: Discovered 1908 by Wilson.
Introduced by Wilson in 1911, to the UK in 1919, flowering in Ireland in 1932 or 33
although perhaps earlier in France.
Recognise by: dense twiggy habit. Very floriferous.
Nine usually tousled tepals.
