Magnolia denudata 'Forrest's Pink'
Single stemmed or multistemmed, small upright growing tree.
Flowers: 9-11 tepals, pinker than any form of M.denudata, without a trace of purple. Flushed with deeper pink at the base.
Selected by Treseder's Nurseries from the original tree at Caerhays Castle which is thought to have originated from one of George Forrest's seed collections.
It appears that this clone's performance is temperature dependent, where spring temperatures are generally warmer, then it performs better.
