Seedling given to Bishop Hunkin of Truro by George Johnson of Trewithen, Cornwall, planted in the grounds of Lis Eskop, Truro. The grounds were sold to the Copeland family.
Small to medium sized broad spreading tree.
Flowers: deep clear pink, shaded crimson, 20cm diameter, paler within, 12-14 tepals.
Rated by August Kehr as one of his best hybrids.
