Large shrub to 2.5m or more with a dense habit
Flowers: Compact, conical, trusses of 15 funnel-shaped flowers; 45mm long x 70mm wide, with wavy-edged lobes, cobalt violet at margins, with almost white throat and a purple blotch.

Foliage: Elepidote. Leaves are 175mm long x 55mm wide, dark glossy green
Other information: Easy to grow. Ideally requires dappled shade but will tolerate more sun than many of the Hardy Hybrid Rhododendrons. Commercially available
