Leaves: Elepidote. Leaves are oblanceolate, 80mm long x 30mm wide, matt green, tapered at base, with a rufous indumentum when young which ages to mid-brown
Other Information: Raised by C Puddle, a head gardener at Bodnant, this rhododendron was registered by Lord Aberconway and the National Trust in 1994. Unlikely to be commercially available
