FCC 1953, AGM (1993) 2012
3m by 4m
10 year height/spread: 2m/2m
Flowers: deep yellow buds open to a full globe of clear yellow.
May.
Very floriferous and has outstanding trusses and flower colour with nicely
contrasting deep green shiny foliage, but leggy in shade and dislikes hot sun.
Recognise by: wardii type leaves but larger and with reddish petioles. The flower buds stand clear of the foliage like small green apples.
Needs light openshade to produce a nice shaped plant. The truss is still outstanding in the genus.
