Flowers: Ball shaped trusses of 3-5 open funnel-shaped, single flowers. Flowers are 50mm long × 65-70mm wide, with 5 wavy-edge lobes; dark reddish orange, with dark red or maroon spotting


Not scented

Foliage: Leaves are broadly elliptic to ovate, 28mm long × 20mm wide, glossy strong green, hairless; winter leaves dark yellowish green. Evergreen

Other Information: A form with variegated leaves is available but this seems to be prone to azalea leaf gall. Easy to grow. Commercially available
