Rhododendron 'Graham Thomas'
Probably derived from campanulatum
AM 1993
Flowers: c15/truss, 50 x 80mm, 6-7 lobed, violet purple in bud, opening with throat mauvette, edges cobalt violet, dark brown spots on 3 dorsal lobes, darkening to small basal brown blotch in keel of corolla.
Leaves: elliptic-oblong, 120-150 x 40-50mm, pale orange-brown and hairy below.
