Flowers: 5/truss, funnel-shaped, 30 x 33mm, 5 lobed, mainly strong purplish red, strong purplish red at base externally and on midribs of lobes, spotted on throat.

Foliage: elliptic, 65 x 30mm, dark glossy green above, with scaly indumentum below which is brown when young.
Compact shrub: 1.25 x 0.5m in 10 years
