Flowers: 12-15/rounded truss, broadly funnel-shaped, 35 x 50-60mm, clear rose with darker veins and a conspicuous maroon patch.
Calyx very small, glandular.
Mid-May - Mid-June
Foliage: oblanceolate, up to 110 x 35mm, dull and dark green above, with a rust-coloured indumentum below.
Large shrub or small tree.
