Rhododendron 'Moser's Maroon'

Flowers: 15-16/truss, funnel-shaped, 40 x 60mm, chrysanthum crimson, with a ray of black marks.
Calyx very small, dark crimson.
Foliage: obovate-lanceolate, up to 140 x 50mm, dark more-or-less glossy green with vestiges of indumentum below.
Young foliage coppery red.
Shrub 1.5m in 10 years.
