Flowers: 18-20 domed truss, broadly funnel-campanulate, 44 x 64mm, with 5 wavy-edged lobes, vivid purplish red in bud, opening moderate purplish pink, fading to mottled with vivid purplish red margins and moderate yellow-green speckles in the throat; outside moderate purplish pink, with vivid purplish red at midveins and margins; stamens 10, curved, unequal.

Foliage: narrowly elliptic, 83-108 - 25-38mm, flat, dull moderate olive green above, with pale yellow-green tomentum on young growth, strong yellow-green below with a greenish-white indumentum ageing to moderate orange.
Shrub 1.4 x 1.4m in 6 years.
