Flowers: Loose trusses of 10-15, widely tubular funnel-shaped, single flowers. Flowers are 50mm long × 55mm wide, with 5 wavy-edged lobes; vivid purplish red in bud, opening moderate purplish pink inside, deep purplish pink and white outside, with a brilliant orange-yellow blotch on the dorsal lobe; calyx 4mm long, light yellow-green

Slightly scented

Foliage: Leaves are elliptic, 20-50mm long × 10-15mm wide; wavy-edged, apiculate at apex, cuneate at base, hairless. Good autumn leaf colour. Deciduous

Other information: A Denny Pratt hybrid raised in about 1986 as DP 105; registered by Ness Botanic Gardens in 1998. Unlikely to be commercially available
