Tall shrub
Flowers: single, 7-11/truss, tubular funnel-shaped, c48mm long, deep to moderate purplish pink, with deeper redder midveins and deeper buds, a few inconspicuous orange spots in dorsal throat.

Foliage: narrowly to broadly obovate, up to 50 x 23mm, ciliate and hairy on midribs, slightly glossy and pale green above, slightly grey-green below.
