Flowers: compact trusses of about 16 openly funnel shaped fuchsia pink rimmed flowers, slightly
paler towards the centre with faint green markings.

Good 'yak' growth habit. Leaves similar to yakushimanum, with a dense woolly indumentum,
but considerably broader.
Recognise by: broad but 'yak' type leaves with indumentum; flower colour. Hard to identify out of flower.
Usually grafted. Very free flowering and very hardy
