Shrub growing up to 2 m in 10 years

Flowers: Compact trusses of 12-18 broadly campanulate flowers, 55mm long x 70-80mm wide; crimson scarlet in bud, opening deep rose with a few brown markings.

Not scented

Foliage: Elepidote. Leaves are elliptic, 100mm long x 35mm wide, dark and matt green above, sparsely brown felted below

Other information:  Unlikely to be commercially available in the UK or Europe; it is advertised in both Australia and New Zealand
