Flowers are 50mm long × 50mm wide, with 5 narrowly but strongly wavy-edged lobes; vivid red in bud, opening moderate yellowish pink inside, moderate reddish orange outside; a dorsal blotch of vivid orange-yellow; stamens pink; calyx 2mm long, light yellow-green
