Introduced: 1932 by Steward from Nanking (the subspecies).
Distribution: Guizhou, 2250m
Recognise by: foliage darker, wider, flatter and more rugose than
argyrophyllum, shiny on top, matt
white underneath; deep pink flowers.
Epithet: with silver leaves; from Nanking
One of the best of this series with delightful foliage and good flowers.
Slow growing.
