Flowers: 4-7 tubular-campanulate, to 25mm long, sulphur yellow, yellow sometimes tinged red, or creamy-white tinged pink on the lobes.
April-May.
Leaves: oblong, lanceolate or oblong-lanceolate, 27-66mm x 10-27mm, upper surface bright green, scaly, lower densely scaly.
Distribution: SE Tibet 2150-2600m.
Shrub 1-3m high; stem and branches coppery-red with brown smooth flaking bark.
