Epithet: alluding to the densely leafy stems.
Flowers:campanulate, 6-7 x 15-18mm, yellow, without spots or visible markings,
tube c5 x 4 x 4mm.
Sep - Oct.
Foliage: obovate, spathulate, upper surface green shiny, lower surface paler green, 7-30 x 3-13mm,
7-15 in loose pseudowhirls.
Shrub to 1.3m, epiphytic in forest, sometimes pendulous from the trunks of trees and on exposed rocks and cliffs.
Distribution (1000-1800m):
China: SE Yunnan, Malipo and Xichou.
