Flowers: campanulate, 14-26mm long, pink, rose, pinkish-purple or reddish-purple.
April-May.
Leaves: lanceolate, oblong-lanceolate or oblong, aromatic, 30-90mm x 10-26mm, upper surface dark green, shiny, scaly, lower markedly glaucous, densely scaly.
Distribution: Sikkim, Nepal, Bhutan 2750-3650m.
Shrub 0.3-1.5m high; stem and branches with smooth brown flaking bark.
