Introduced: 1850 Griffith from Bhutan.
Recently collected (1965- )
Distribution: Nepal, Sikkim, Bhutan into Tibet and Arunachal Pradesh
Recognise by: fairly narrow leaves to 45cm, shining dark green. Usually shining silvery indumentum.
Anecdotes: Hates wind. Less hardy than R.sinogrande, but a very hardy white form is
a compact 3m dome in Valley Garden Windsor
