Epithet: after Sir James Horlick.

Height: sometimes epiphytic, 1-3m high.
Flowers: widely funnel-shaped, 65-70 mm long, white or creamy-white, with pink bands outside the lobes, and yellow blotch.
April-May.
Leaves: elliptic-lanceolate, oblong-lanceolate or oblanceolate, 52-115mm x 18-45mm, upper surface dark green, shiny, not scaly, underside pale glaucous green, scaly.
Distribution: N. Burma. 1220 - 2135m.
