Height: dwarf shrub to 30cm.
Flowers: 1-2 flowers, broadly campanulate, 15-25mm long, yellow with reddish-brown spots inside the tube, outside scaly, densely pubescent.
April-May.
Leaves: obovate, oval or rounded, 12-14 x 8-10mm, upper surface dark green, scaly, margin crenulate-undulate, distinctly notched, underside scaly.
Distribution: SE Tibet, 4100m.
Rare in cultivation.
