Flowers: 5-10/truss, tubular-campanulate, 40-58mm long, crimson, deep crimson, or almost black-crimson or scarlet without or sometimes with a dark blotch.
April-May.
Leaves:oval, obovate or oblong-oval, 55-110 x 35-68mm, upper surface pale green or dark green, glabrous, glaucous, underside glabrous.
Distribution: W. Yunnan, NE Burma. 2700 - 3700m.
