Flowers: 4-12/truss, tubular-campanulate, 28-45mm long, deep crimson, scarlet, carmine or deep rose; 5 nectar pouches.
April-May
Leaves: oblong, oblong-lanceolate or lanceolate, 30-123mm x 13-39mm, upper surface dark green,glabrous, underside glabrous, white, covered with waxy papillae.
Distribution: Mid-W and W Yunnan, S Tibet, N Burma (2750-3700m)
