Height: 2 - 8m, a shrub or tree.
Flowers: 10-15 flowered, funnel-campanulate, 36-56mm long, 53-70mm across, pinkish-red or pink, without spots; 7 lobes.
April-May.
Leaves: 76-125 x 50-74mm, broadly elliptic, rounded or oval, coriacious, apex rounded, base obtuse or rounded, upper surface dark green, rugulose, matt glabrous, underside pale green, glabrous.
Distribution: SE Sichuan 1,900 - 2,200m.
