Shrub: 0.15 - 1.5m
Flowers: axilliary in the uppermost few leaves, 1-4/truss, wildly funnel-shaped, 10 - 15mm long, pink, deep pink, rose or white.
April-May.
Foliage: lanceolate, linear-lanceolate, linear, oblanceolate or oblong-oval, 12-35 x 2-13mm; upper surface scabrid, bristly, rather densely or moderately pubescent, scaly or not scaly, margin recurved; underside rather densely or moderately pubescent, scaly.
Distribution: W & NW Yunnan, Guizhou, SW Sichuan: 1500 - 3200m.
