Flowers: lax trusses of attractive floppy pale pink flowers through to rose, which may fade to
white in some forms.
Introduced: 1908 by Wilson from Sichuan.
Distribution: C.Sichuan only, 2400 - 3000m
Recognise by: easily identified by the distinctive small round cordate leaves
(smaller than most of its hybrids),with bronzy young growth.
A delightful dwarf free flowering species with attractive young growth, which can
get frosted in cold areas, where its many hybrids may be better.
